Creating a Custom Teak Wall & Partition for a Texas Master Bath Oasis
When a Texas homeowner set out to transform their entire home—especially the master bath—into a private oasis, the vision called for something truly special. In collaboration with Magnolia Homes and featured on the hit show Fixer Upper, our team at Carib Teak and TeakShowerFloors.com had the opportunity to fabricate a stunning custom teak wall partition and coordinating teak shower floor for this remarkable renovation.
The goal was to create a spa-like master bathroom that felt open yet thoughtfully divided. Our custom teak wall partition was designed to separate the shower from the toilet area, functioning as a structural and visual divider while maintaining warmth and natural flow throughout the space. The result was both architectural and inviting—adding privacy without sacrificing the airy aesthetic.

Each batten was carefully constructed for stability, durability, and security. We exclusively used FEQ (First European Quality) teak in the fabrication of every component. This premium-grade teak is known for its tight grain, strength, and exceptional performance in moisture-rich environments—making it ideal for both vertical wall applications and shower flooring.
The coordinating teak shower floor completed the design, grounding the space with rich, natural texture and ensuring a safe, solid surface underfoot. Together, the wall partition and shower floor transformed the master bath into a cohesive retreat—beautifully blending craftsmanship with functionality.
