At TeakShowerFloors.com, we recently collaborated with an architect to design and fabricate a fully custom teak shower floor for a private residence in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. This project required a high level of precision, as the shower featured varied floor heights and a linear drain that created a significant depth difference from the entry to the back of the shower. To address this challenge, we worked closely with the architect to engineer a solution that would ensure the finished teak surface remained level from side to side while properly accommodating the slope beneath. The final design incorporated two custom-fabricated panels, allowing for ease of removal and cleaning without compromising stability or performance. The shower floor was crafted using premium FEQ Teak, selected for its durability, natural water resistance, and refined appearance. Every detail was carefully considered to deliver a floor that met both the functional requirements of the space and the high aesthetic standards of the client.
